Jennifer Cullen, Head Coach
Coach Jennifer began swimming at the age of four and continued competitive swimming through High School. As a teenager, she was a YMCA National Qualifier in the Butterfly and Individual Medley events. She attended Trinity High School in Manchester, NH and the University of New England in Biddeford, ME.
Her coaching career began with the Greater Manchester YMCA Tiger Sharks in the early 90’s. Jennifer was actively involved with the construction of the Samuel Hunt Pool at the Allard Center. In the late 90’s, she moved to Massachusetts where she worked for six years with the YNS Sharks. Jennifer was also the Director of Aquatics at the Gloucester YMCA during this time. She returned to the Greater Manchester YMCA in 2005 as head coach of the Tiger Sharks until April of 2012.Jennifer has been the head coach of the Bulldogs since the school opened in 2007. Jennifer’s coaching career extends over 20 years, 13 of which have been as a fulltime coach and mentor.
Lisa Pratte, Assistant
Lisa Pratte is a special education teacher at Bedford High School. Her coaching experience includes six years with Bernal’s Gator Swim Club in Waltham, Massachusetts as well as ten seasons with NHIAA swim teams in Manchester and Derry, NH. Lisa competed as a member of the Chelmsford High School swim team and in college at the University of Vermont and Keene State College. Lisa will be returning for her third year as assistant coach with the Bedford High School swim team.
Luke Grilli, Volunteer
Luke Grilli began swimming under the watchful eye of Coach Jennifer when he was 10. He swam for her on the Manchester Tiger Sharks and eventually moved onto the Rockingham Area Youth Swim Team (RAYS). Luke is a graduate of Londonderry High School where he was a captain of the 2002-2003 NHIAA State Championship swim team. Upon graduation from Londonderry High School, Luke attended Baldwin Wallace College in Berea, Ohio where he swam all four years, earning All-Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) accolades in the 100 backstroke, 200 backstroke, 200 freestyle and 200 Medley Relay. He won the OAC championship in the 200 Medley Relay his Freshman year and 100 backstroke his Sophomore year. This is Luke’s first year as an assistant coach and at Bedford High School.
